To register their protest, the Sriram Sene workers burnt the effigy of SDPI, PFI and CFI at Swami Vivekanand Circle, while members of Kshatriya Samaj took out a rally and submitted a memorandum at the DC office. They said that it is a heinous crime and the state government should act tough against the murderers.
Harsha was against some of the anti-national activities, and he was targeted by the SDPI, PFI and CFI. The government should ban these organizations and prevent such incidents in the future, they said.
People are disappointed that killing in the name of religion is taking place in Karnataka which is ruled by BJP. The state government should not show any mercy on the killers and deal them with iron hands, said Sriram Sen workers.
The members of Kshatriya Samaj said Harsha was identified as a Hindu activist and was also involved in social work. The government should consider this issue seriously and take action against the organizations masterminding such killings. The murderers should be hanged so that such incidents do not recur, they said. They also demanded compensation to the family of the victim.
