Actress and model Afshan Azad Qazi, who rose to fame as Padma Patil in the Harry Potter films, shared a glimpse of her baby shower on Instagram. The 32-year-old posted several pictures on social media to celebrate her pregnancy with her partner Nabil Kazi.
Afshaan had revealed the gender of his baby in a post on June 26 where he announced that he and his partner were expecting a baby girl.
In her latest pictures, the model was seen dressed in a beige-shade floral silhouette. He was accompanied by Nabil who hugged Afshaan’s baby bump for the pictures. Captioning the picture, Afshan penned a lovely note for Nabil, which read, “Better to have you as a husband than to only know that our children will have you as their father.”
In another Instagram post, Afshan was seen caressing her baby bump with pink and purple balloons. The picture was accompanied by a caption where the model described her feeling while preparing for motherhood. “You didn’t realize you could love a person you haven’t even met yet. I’m counting down the days until I meet my new best friend.”
The actress also posted an Instagram reel that gave her 181k Instagram followers a glimpse of how the baby shower went. The backyard of this house, situated in the neighborhood of the British, was decorated with pink and purple colors. The couple was also seen cutting the cake as they celebrated the occasion with their friends. The couple also presented pink t-shirts to the guests on the occasion of their baby shower.
Afshan announced her pregnancy in April through an Instagram post.
The news certainly had Harry Potter reunited to extend heartfelt congratulations to his former colleague. From actor Bonnie Wright, who played Ginny Weasley in the franchise to Stanislav Inevsky, who played Victor Krum in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, many of the series’ actors congratulated Afshan.
