narappa
Naarappa is Venkatesh’s first film on the OTT platform. Directed by Srikanth Addala, the film is a remake of the critically acclaimed Tamil film, which premiered on Amazon Prime Video on July 20 this year. Venkatesh was praised for his performance as the titular character in the film, which received generally positive reviews. The film is based on the novel vekkai Poomani, who talks about the struggle of a boy from his village who is plagued by caste and class-based atrocities.

Venkatesh played the lead role in the Telugu remake of the hit Malayalam film Drishyam 2. It was released on OTT. The story, set six years after the events of the first film (Drishyam), saw most of the lead actors reprising their roles.
F3: Fun and Frustration
After the success of 2019 F2 Fun and Frustration, the cast including Venkatesh, Tamannaah and Varun Tej are all set to return in a standalone sequel. F3 follows the same comedy formula of F2, which was the highest-grossing Telugu film of 2019. The film is scheduled to release on February 25, 2022.
Bhaijaan (tentatively titled)
The upcoming Salman-Sajid Nadiadwala project is initially titled Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali and marks Venkatesh’s return to Bollywood after 25 years. The main heroine of the film is said to be Pooja Hegde. The makers, who are looking for an actress to star opposite Venkatesh, are hopeful that the shooting will begin next year.
