Today is the birthday of Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran. Her career started in 2002 with the romantic drama Nandanam directed by Ranjith Balakrishnan. Sukumaran won the National Film Award for Indian Rupee Film in the Best Feature Film in Malayalam category in 2011. He is married to Supriya Menon and the couple has a daughter Alankrita Menon Prithviraj. The actor was last seen in Bhramam directed by Ravi K Chandran.

Directed by Lal Jose, Classmates is an old-fashioned romantic comedy-drama. The film had acquired a cult status. Along with Sukumaran, the film starred Narayana, Jayasuriya, Kavya Madhavan and Sukumaran’s brother Indrajit Sukumaran. It also received the Kerala State Film Award for Best Popular Film and Best Story.
Ayyappanam Koshiyum (2020)
Ayyappanam Koshiyum (Ayappan and Koshy) is a Malayalam action thriller film written and directed by KR Satchidanandan. The film starred Biju Menon along with Prithviraj Sukumaran.
Ennu Ninte Moideen (2015)
Ennu Ninte Moideen (Your Truly, Moideen) is a biographical romantic drama starring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Parvathi Thirovothu. The film is based on the lives of BP Moideen and Kachnamala and was directed and written by RS Vimal.
Ayalum Najanam Thamil (2012)
The film was directed by Lal Jose and produced by Prem Prakash. The cast includes Prithviraj Sukumaran, Narayan, Samvrutha Sunil and Pratap Pothen.
Memories (2013)
Yaadein is a Malayalam crime thriller film starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, SP Sreekumar, Miya, Vijay Raghavan and Meghna Raj. The film is written and directed by Jeetu Joseph.
