A 14-year-old girl was abducted from her school and gang-raped by three youths in Gurugram’s Sohna area, police said on Sunday. According to the complaint lodged by the victim’s father, her Class VIII student was abducted from her school during a sports event on December 18 last year by three youths, who took her to a hilly area and raped her. The three accused recently also made an objectionable video of the girl and uploaded it on social media.
The victim’s father told the police that the girl had not told anyone about the incident till now, but on Saturday they came to know about the video and later she disclosed the incident and they reported the matter to the police.
Police said two of the accused are students of another school studying in class 11th and 12th and the third is a dropout.
DCP South Upasana Singh said, “Police are conducting raids to arrest the accused and medical examination of the girl has been conducted. The accused have been identified and will be arrested soon.”
Following the complaint, an FIR was registered against the three accused at Sohna Sadar Police Station under various sections of the IPC and the POCSO Act.
