Gurugram: Doctor wife and in-laws of private hospital harassed Gurugram Police said here on Saturday that he committed suicide after consuming poisonous substance.
The reason for the suicide came to light after a suicide note was recovered from the house two weeks later. The relatives of the deceased complained about the matter to the police against the wife and in-laws.
complainant about the lionA resident of village Jhanjharola told the police that his son Ravinder was a doctor in a private hospital in Gurugram.
“My son was married to Manisha, a resident of Alwar, in January 2015. On August 26, Ravinder had swallowed a poisonous substance due to mental stress. He died during treatment at the hospital. Police took possession of the body and handed it over. handed over to family members after postmortem. I had not filed any complaint at that time,” Singh told police.
Singh said in his complaint that 14 days after Ravinder’s death, when he was cleaning the house by separating his belongings, a diary containing a suicide note was found from Ravinder’s suitcase.
“In the suicide note, Ravinder had written that his in-laws were harassing him due to which he was committing suicide. He also blamed his wife Manisha, mother-in-law. Kamlesh, Manisha’s aunt contribution and Surat, to his death,” Singh said in his police complaint.
Following this, Singh filed a complaint and handed over the suicide note to the police, which has started investigation based on the complaint.
