Gujarat Assembly Elections 2022: After PM Narendra Modi, his 100-year-old mother Heeraben casts her vote in Gandhinagar

AHMEDABAD: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother Heeraben cast her vote at a polling booth in Raisan village near Gandhinagar city on Monday during the second phase of Gujarat assembly elections. The PM’s mother, who entered her 100th year in June, lives with her younger son Pankaj Modi in Raisan village near Gandhinagar city. She along with Pankaj Modi and other family members reached the polling booth on a wheelchair and exercised her franchise.

The PM met his mother on Sunday (December 4) evening and sought her blessings after arriving in the state ahead of polling.

Voting was being held on Monday for the second phase of elections in the north and central regions for 93 assembly seats out of a total of 182 in the state.
