Surendranagar: A 12-year-old lady fell into an over 500-feet deep borewell shaft in Gujarat’s Surendranagar district on Friday morning and was rescued by Military and police groups after 5 hours, officers mentioned. The incident happened at Gajanvav village in Dhrangadhra tehsil. This was the second such incident within the tehsil after a two-year-old boy was rescued from a borewell in June.
The lady, recognized as Manisha, fell into the open shaft of a borewell on a farm round 7.30 am, an official mentioned. “She was rescued by Military jawans with the assistance of native police and well being division personnel after practically 5 hours of efforts,” mentioned inspector T B Hirani of Dhrangadhra police station.
