In Ajmer, people from all over the country, including leaders and officials, keep visiting for dargah Ziarat and Teerth Raj Pushkar of Sufi saint Khwaja Sahib. Many leaders, officers and others take rest in the circuit house. Stop here and eat food. But many of these guests are such, who did not bother to pay the bill here and left without paying the bill.

Such people include two former Chief Ministers of Rajasthan and Bihar, ministers of many states of the country, senior officers of other departments including the Indian Administrative Service, among others, in which the arrears are still pending. According to the administration, they constantly contact the defaulters through oral, written and telephone. But this amount due over the years has not been recovered till now. Many of them have passed away and many have been retired.

According to the list provided by the Ajmer Circuit House Administration to Tarun Agarwal under the Right to Information, there are 167 leaders, officers and other people in which it is due. According to this list, Rs 68 thousand 853 is in the politicians and Rs 2 lakh 35 thousand 963.50 in the officers. Similarly, Rs 14,925 is outstanding among others.

These former chief ministers also have outstanding

Former Chief Minister Bhairon Singh Shekhawat’s three-time stay in the circuit house is due. In this, for the first time Rs 1364 as on February 4, 2002, Rs 634 as on April 26, 2002, Rs 501 as on June 23, 2002 are pending. Similarly, former Chief Minister of Bihar Lalu Prasad Yadav has an outstanding of Rs 705 as on 3rd September 2005.

Bills outstanding of leaders related to Ghadsana dispute

In the list, 5 bills of politicians related to Ghadsana dispute in the name of ADM City are also outstanding since 12 December 2004, whose total amount is Rs 1809.

Bills of election observers also outstanding

The list also mentions 12 bill arrears of election observers, which are about Rs.1.25 lakh. This bill is from 5 April 2019 to 27 November 2019.

It is mandatory for the visitors to make all the payments for their stay in the circuit house etc. at the time of leaving the room by the guest. According to the instructions given in Chapter 5 of the Circuit House Manual, there is a complete ban on leaving / keeping arrears in the Circuit House.
