GST Council to Meet on February 18; Tax on Pan Masala, Gutka Companies, Online Gaming Top Agenda

New Delhi: According to a tweet posted by the council, the 49th meeting of the GST Council is scheduled to be held on February 18, 2023, in New Delhi. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will chair the GST Council meeting.

It offered several recommendations related to changes in the GST tax rate, business facilitation measures and measures to streamline compliance of the Goods and Services Tax (GST).

The 47th meeting of the GST Council was to be held in Chandigarh at the end of June 2022.
