New Delhi: Minister of Coal pralhad joshi Said on Tuesday that the government is looking optimum utilization of coal And mining area in nation building and emphasized that the sectors are in a mode of transition to achieve higher production targets.
Addressing the first orientation program for Non-Official Directors (NODs) of CPSEs under the Ministry of Coal and Mines, Joshi said that the coal and mining sectors in the country are playing a vital role towards nation building and self-reliance.
The Minister said that NOD can play an important role in improving its performance. Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSE).
He said that the coal and mining sectors are the biggest employment generating sectors.
Minister of State for Coal, Mines and Railways Raosaheb Patil Danve, Coal Secretary Anil Kumar Jain, senior officers of Coal and Mines Ministries and NODs of allied organizations participated in the orientation program.
