West Bengal Governor Satya Pal Malik has said that if farmers come under fire, I will leave the governor or any big post. The farmers’ movement is not over yet but has been postponed and may happen again. The government should be honest with the farmers and cancel all the registered cases and MSP should be made a law.

Phogat Khap honored

Satyapal Malik arrived in Dadri on Sunday to pay his respects at Swami Dayal Dham. He was later honored by the Phogat Khap. He said that he will always be ready for the farmers and the society and will get a leading stand. He said that the repeal of the Agriculture Act is a big victory for the farmers. Now farmers should be united about MSP also. He had already warned the Prime Minister. This came to his understanding and the peasant movement came to an end. Now MSP should be given legal form.

Khap Panchayat’s decision right

Justifying the decisions taken by the Khap Panchayats, the Governor said that this would create unity in the society. Talking to reporters, Kitlana said on Toll Mahapanchayat that due to political conspiracy, he did not participate in Mahapanchayat. The panchayats where politics takes place stay away.

Satyapal expressed grief over the Dadam mining accident in Bhiwani. He said that the miners do not follow any rules and regulations, the whole business is full of corruption. He appealed to the government to take strict action against the culprits by getting the mining case investigated at a high level.
