Koderma: The district administration said on Wednesday that it would provide free coaching For government school students who are willing to take competitive exams.
Koderma Deputy Commissioner Aditya Ranjan said: “Most of these students come from humble backgrounds and cannot afford the fees of expensive coaching centres. Due to their financial constraints they are not able to fulfill their dreams of becoming IAS, IPS, Doctor or Engineer. Now the administration will help them to realize their dreams.
A three-day career counseling camp will be organized here from October 2, in which experts from New Delhi will participate. IIM AhmedabadSenior officials of the district and experts from across the country will participate in it. They will share ideas with students and help them choose their career. A link has been created where students can enroll themselves for the orientation programme. Intimation will be sent through SMS to the students registered with the Employment Exchange.
In the second phase, Ranjan said that a guidance center would be set up where a select few teachers would teach the students free of cost and prepare them for all kinds of competitive exams. So far nine teachers have been shortlisted for the coaching exercise. More will join soon, he said.
