An SIT will be formed to probe the incident, which will submit its report within a month.

On December 4, the army was carrying out an operation against the extremists in Oting, Nagaland. The army signaled a vehicle to stop, the commandos suspecting that it was carrying extremists. 21 commandos started firing. 7 died in this firing. In protest against the incident, people surrounded the commandos and started setting fire to the vehicles. A young man died. 7 more people were killed in the firing done to handle the crowd.

He said, “Army is also conducting a high-level inquiry into the matter. Action will be taken as per law. I had contacted the Chief Minister and Governor of Nagaland immediately after the incident. The Home Ministry is also in constant touch with the Chief Secretary and high officials of the police. Is.”

When the truck did not stop, the security forces opened fire due to the possibility of a militant in it, in which 6 people died on the spot and 2 people later died in the hospital.
