Government declares brother of Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar as terrorist under UAPA – Henry Club

Lashkar chief Hafiz Saeed’s son TalhasTerrorist“Under Unlawful Activities Prevention Act, Central Government Nominated Jaish-e-Mohammed Chief on Monday” Masood AzhariK’s brother, Ammar Alvi, who was one of the key planners of the 2019 Pulwama terror attack, as a terrorist under the Act.

The Home Ministry said in a gazette notification issued on Monday that 39-year-old Mohiuddin Aurangzeb Alamgir alias Ammar Alvi, a senior leader of Jaish, has already been banned under the UAPA. The notification said that Alvi, a resident of Bahawalpur, Pakistan, is “involved in anti-India terrorist activities” and “in the 2019 Pulwama Central Reserve Police Force convoy attack”. Jaish-e-Mohammed“Mohiuddin Aurangzeb Alamgir (aka Alvi) looks after the fund collection of Jaish-e-Mohammed by Pakistani nationals and remits the said funds to Kashmir in India. The Central Government is of the view that Mohiuddin Aurangzeb Alamgir should be declared a terrorist under the said Act.

On April 8, the Center had declared Talha Saeed a terrorist under the UAPA.
