Tahira Kashyap Khurrana shares her experience of food poisoning, from persistent vomiting to being admitted to the ICU, in an effort to create awareness about the toxicity of bottle gourd. Ayushmann Khurrana’s writer and filmmaker wife took to social media to share her distress due to carelessness and ignorance about bitter gourd.

In one of the reel, Tahira records her ordeal saying that if one is not aware then one can be told about the serious harm caused by a regular food product. She said, “Please listen to this! @Instagram is an amazing platform to spread awareness! Please read about gourd poisoning! I looked cool and calm all the way through in this video I made from my set, but I’m deep down.” # was in %!

After spending her experience in the ICU, Tahira is back on the sets of her upcoming film Sharmaji Ki Beti. Recently, Saiyami Kher completed the shooting of the film and currently Tahira is shooting for her first directorial feature film opposite Divya Dutta. Tahira is also gearing up for the release of her fifth book ‘The 7 Sins of Being a Mother’.
