Gorakhpur: Yogi Adityanath greeted by twin cries of ‘Bole So Nihal’ & ‘Jai Sri Ram’ | Varanasi News – Times of India

GORAKHPUR: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday addressed a Punjabi ‘sammelan’ at Mohaddipur Gurdwara in the city and also visited Mohaddipur’s Gopal temple. During his visit, he urged the people to com e forward and exercise their voting right, stating that the responsibility of development and security of the entire state is on them.
The Gurdwara Samiti welcomed him and people raised slogan s like ‘Jo bole so Nihal, Sat Sri Akal’ and ‘Jai Shri Ram’.
During his address at the Gurdwara, the chief minister said that he is noticing that the people of the community were working for the electoral campaign as they did during his previous elections. He said this is in spite of the fact that he isnt present physically most of the time as he needs to go to support BJP candidates at various seats all across the state.
While enumerating the contribution of Sikh Gurus to the society, he also described the decision of the Central government of celebrating Children’s Day as ‘Shahzada Divas, He also appealed to everyone to vote and take forward the development and good governance model in the state.
The CM said, “In five years, the image of the state has become good. Before 2017 the new generation was affected due to the negative image of the state in the country, but now they no longer face such challenges outside the state. Earlier, there were riots, migration and west UP was facing anarchy. The BJP government not only controlled corona, but also migration. Now, businessmen are returning and doing business. Daughters are going to schools and mothers and sisters are safe. Every poor is getting the benefits of welfare scheme without any discrimination.”
He also performed puja in Gopal temple in Mohaddipur and conducted a door-to-door campaign in Punjabi Colony where the locals showered him with flowers. At the temple, he met two little girls — Tarni and Rishika — and pampered them with affection and also motivated them to study earnestly.
