The smartwatch is said to feature a rounded design with ‘no physical bezel’. In its ‘current form’, it is rumored that the device requires daily charging. According to an employee who claims to have tested the device, charging is really slow on the smartwatch. Furthermore, the Pixel Watch is said to come with proprietary bands like the Apple Watch.
According to a 2019 report, Google almost had a “Pixel Watch” in the past. Released in 2017, the LG Watch Sport and LG Watch Style were originally to be marketed as part of the Pixel brand. According to one employee, the idea was dropped because they “didn’t appear to be in the Pixel family.”
