Google Pixel Fold may feature 7.67-inch interior screen

San Francisco: Tech giant Google’s upcoming foldable smartphone Pixel Fold will reportedly have a 7.67-inch internal screen.

YouTuber Dave2D, who posts videos related to the technology, published a video featuring a replica of the rumored foldable Pixel made of plastic, reports The Verge.

It is expected to come with a 7.67-inch internal screen with around 5mm thick bezels.

The foldable smartphone is likely to sport a 5.79-inch outer screen which is slightly smaller and wider than Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 4.

In addition, it is expected to have speaker grilles at the top and bottom.

Reports say the device could be showcased at the tech giant’s annual developer conference Google I/O in May this year, but some leaks suggest a fall.

In November last year, it was reported that the tech giant was planning to launch its first foldable smartphone alongside the Pixel tablet in May this year priced at $1,799.

The new device is likely to come in two color variants – Chalk (White) and Obsidian (Black).

Some sources had claimed that the Pixel Fold is expected to have a “typical Pixel-esque display” and a Pixel flagship camera.
