Google Maps can show how much you’ll have to pay for tolls on your road trip – Times of India

Google Map The Internet is one of the search giant’s most useful platforms and the company continues to find ways and means to make it more and more helpful. The app already shows its users the routes along with the tolls that commuters want to avoid before starting their journey.
Based on that feature, Google Maps is working on adding support for showing prices for tolls on roads, bridges and more, according to a report from Android Police.
The report claimed that a member of the preview program was seen conducting a survey to “instruct the map development team on how best to implement the toll price display feature”.
The message reportedly said that the toll prices would be displayed along a driving route before the user could opt for it, which would allow them to make an informed choice.
Google Map identifies and shows tolls on a route in India. Therefore, we expect the feature to give an estimated cost of tolls for users in India, along with other regions, as and when this may happen.
Earlier this month, Google introduced three new features to Google Maps for iPhone users. First, Google Maps allows iPhone users to share their real-time location using Apple’s native messaging app – iMessage. Secondly, Google Maps will allow iPhone users to share their real-time location using Apple’s native messaging app – iMessage. The new widget design reveals that it will be divided into two sections – one that shows traffic conditions and another that shows shortcuts to favorite places as well as other essential locations. Lastly, Google Maps now comes with support for Dark Mode.
