The Google Cursive app is rolling out starting with HP’s Chromebook X2 11 and will come pre-installed on other stylus-enabled Chromebooks later this year.

Google has launched a new app called “Cursive” for Chrome OS Which allows users to create, edit or organize handwritten notes. NS Google Debuting with Cursive App HP’s Chromebook X2 11 and will be pre-installed on other stylus-enabled chromebook later this year. It comes as a Progressive Web App (PWA), similar to Google’s drawing-focused ‘Canvas’ app. The app uses gestures powered by handwriting recognition on the device that include circling to move, scribbling/crossing out to delete, and drawing a line across the page to add more space.

to cursive PWA Google Opens to a homepage that contains a blue “New Note” button in the top-left corner of the screen, followed by a carousel of notebook covers that lets users file and categorize notes. There are default folders for all and unified notes and users can create custom folders and set colors as per their preference. but everything google cursive Apps for Chromebooks are backed up to the cloud for cross-device access. Below the folder is a grid of “all notes” in which each note is presented to the user as a card. A preview appears at the top and the title below, while the label is displayed in the corner.

When users are in a note, there is a bar at the top of the screen for them to access various tools like pen, highlighter, eraser, select, image insert, and more. Users can also adjust the color, and width of the pen, and there are undo/redo options on the right.
