Google Whenever it is mentioned in a comment, it sends users a notification email google docs document. The email contains both the comment and the name of the commenter. Now, Google is adding a new feature to Workspace. Along with the comment and the commenter’s name, the commenter’s email address will also appear in the email notification. Google says the new addition is intended to help users feel as though they are receiving a legitimate notification rather than spam or Phishing Attempt by a bad actor.
This facility will be available to all google workspace client, as well as legacy g suit Basic and business customers. It will also be available for users with personal Google accounts. It has started rolling out for users from March 3. The roll out is expected to be completed in 15 days.
Also, there is no admin control for the feature. It will be available to the users by default.
Recently, Google introduced new features like setting space manager, space directions and space details in Google Chat. The features are intended to help users better organize people, topics, and projects. The space managers in Google Chat will give some users more control over the management of space.
Users can also add descriptions to the space and define guidelines that establish rules and expectations for members to create a safe community experience. Description for space can be used to describe the purpose of space, such as a place to discuss all things asteroids, which is a helpful reference for members of space.
