The search engine giant has announced the decision to merge these two platforms, ensuring that you need one app to access all the features. Google will be slowly discontinuing Meet, and bringing all of its features to the Duo app, and that process is starting to roll out in the coming weeks.
Google has made it a habit to cut and replace its products, and even discontinue them out of nowhere. The company’s new decision seems a bit odd, as Meet primarily caters to business, and Zoom was, like, a Teams alternative.
