Google Celebrates India’s 74th Republic Day with a Special Doodle Crafted from Intricately Hand-Cut Paper

New Delhi: Google is celebrating India’s Republic Day 2023 on Thursday, January 26, with a special Doodle, which was illustrated by guest-artist Partha Kothekar from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The specialty of today’s doodle is that it is being created from intricately hand-cut paper. In addition, several elements from the Republic Day parade are added to the artwork including Rashtrapati Bhavan (where the President resides), India Gate, CRFP marching contingents and motorcycle riders.

“To celebrate the national holiday, various parades take place across the country, the largest of which takes place at Rajpath, a ceremonial boulevard in New Delhi. After laying wreaths in honor of the fallen soldiers, the regiments of the Armed Forces of India and Tableaux representing cultural and historical heritage pass through the street. To conclude the festivities, the Beating Retreat ceremony takes place on the evening of January 29. The saffron, white and green Indian flag is hoisted as the Indian national anthem is played. ,” Google India wrote with the special doodle.

The entire country is celebrating 74th Republic Day on Thursday, 26th January with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi is the guest of honor at the 74th Republic Day celebrations.

The Constituent Assembly of India took two years to discuss, revise and ratify the governing document, and when it was adopted, India became the country with the longest constitution.
