Goa CM’s readiness to hand over Sonali Phogat case to CBI proves botch up: Goa Forward | Goa News – Times of India

PANAJI: The Goa government’s inclination to hand over Haryana BJP politician Sonali Phogat’s case to the CBI proves that investigation into her alleged murder has been incompetently handled, said Goa Forward Party on Sunday.

GFP president Vijai Sardesai demanded that if the Tik-Tok star’s death is going to be probed by the CBI, then the mysterious death of Siddhi Naik should also be given the same importance and handed over to the CBI.
“Chief minister Pramod Sawant’s willingness to hand over Sonali Phogat’s murder to CBI is a confession of the government of Goa’s pathetic incompetence and its miserable attempt to misdirect from the facts of the case, and validates the family’s trust deficit in the Goa Chief Minister, his words and his police,” said Sardesai.

Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar called up Sawant to urge the Goa government to handover Phogat murder investigation to the CBI.
Sawant said that he told Khattar that the Goa government has no problem in handing over the investigation to the CBI.
