VALPOI: BJP’s Vishwajit krishnarao Narayan Rane announced from Porim constituency that he would Joining in for Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday. Rane said, Congress and both BJP, failed in development, except AAP as the only option.
“Porim MLA Pratapsinh Rane has been an MLA for 50 years and was chief minister for more than 17 years. Despite this, he has failed to provide basic needs to the people of Porim. Sattari’s locals say his decision will have an impact on the BJP in the 2022 elections as he has many supporters in Porim.
“My motivation for joining the BJP was then Manohar Parrikar’s vision. Since the present government has lost that vision, I think Arvind Kejriwal’s vision alone can change Goa. That’s why I have decided to join AAP.”
“Many Sattari residents gave their land for the dam with the expectation of 24X7 water supply. Unfortunately, they still struggle with water scarcity. They are dependent on tanker supplies,” he said.
