Goa: BJP National President JP Nadda on a two-day visit from today. Goa News – Times of India

PANAJI: BJP national president JP Nadda will be in Goa for two days meeting on 24 and 25 November.
BJP state president Sadanand Shet Tavanade said, “The national president will address the workers in Goa.”
Nadda will reach at 7.30 pm on Wednesday and will begin his state tour in the next leg. Day, with darshan of Shri Mahalakshmi Temple in Panaji at 9.15 am on Thursday.
From the temple, Nadda will go to the community hall in Valpoi for BJP workers to the fair, which will start at 11 am.
The National BJP President will then leave for Bicholim on the same afternoon at 3 pm for the Karyakartas Sammelan to be held at Hirabai Zante Memorial Hall.
In July, Nadda had visited Goa to begin preparations for the 2022 assembly elections.
On Monday, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said assembly elections in Goa are expected to be held in early February 2022 and the model code of conduct will come into force by January.
During his July visit, Nadda held marathon meetings with ministers, legislators and office-bearers to understand the political situation in the state.
In 2012, riding on Manohar Parrikar’s wave, BJP got 21 seats in the 40-member house for the first time. Though in 2017, it failed to garner a majority, Parrikar was quick to form a coalition government. The 2022 elections will be the first time that the BJP will contest without Parrikar in the state.
