Gift of 35 oxygen plants to the country: Modi started from Uttarakhand, said – oxygen supply was a challenge in the fight against Corona

Modi said that our preparation for the fight against Corona should be strengthened in future, so the network of PSA oxygen plant is being prepared in the country.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has gifted 35 PSA oxygen plants to the country. It has started with the program being held at AIIMS Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. The Prime Minister is addressing the people at this time. He has said that there was a challenge from oxygen supply to vaccine in the fight against Corona.

The government says that now all the districts of the country will have authorized PSA oxygen plants. So far 1224 PSA Oxygen Plants have been installed from PM Cares Fund. Of these, 1100 plants are producing 1750 metric tonnes of oxygen daily. This is a testimony to the steps taken by the government to augment the medical oxygen production capacity since the COVID-19 pandemic.
