Karthik Vasudev, a student of Ghaziabad, adjacent to Delhi, was shot dead in Toronto, Canada. Initially, the family got the news of Karthik missing and then a few hours later, his murder. Karthik was a resident of Rajendranagar Sector-5 located in Sahibabad.
Karthik’s father Hitesh Vasudev told that his son had gone to Toronto on January 4, 2022 to study MBA. Along with studies, he was also doing a part time job in a restaurant. The relatives have contacted the Canadian Embassy in the matter. Karthik’s body is expected to be brought to India in about 3 days.
Friends called and told that Uncle, Karthik’s phone is not picking up.

According to the father, this morning Karthik’s friends got a call and informed about his missing. Friends told that today Karthik has neither come to work nor is picking up the phone for three-four hours. After some time it was learned that Karthik had died due to bullet injuries.
Karthik’s friends told that according to Canada time, at 5 pm, Karthik was shot dead in the subway outside the metro station in Toronto. Karthik was out of the metro station when someone opened fire. Toronto Police informed Kartik’s friends. After this the information about the incident reached the family members.
The family is now waiting for Karthik’s dead body.
Emotional father said – Karthik is no longer in this world
Kartik’s father Hitesh got emotional and said- ‘Karthik is no longer in this world. At the moment I have no further information. We look forward to morning in Canada, so that can get some more information. All we have come to know is that some black person committed the murder.

Kartik’s father Hitesh Vasudev works in a company in Gurugram. Karthik has mother, father and brother in the house. All three are in shock at the moment. Mother is in bad condition. Karthik’s younger brother is a 10th class student in DAV School, while his mother is a housewife.
The family says that they sent Karthik to Canada to study. Didn’t even dream that this would happen. The family is in touch with the Canadian Embassy. It is being said that it will take about three days to bring the dead body to India.
