Ghanshyam Nayak death: Fans remember their beloved Nattu Kaka from ‘Taarak Mehta’

MumbaiVeteran actor Ghanshyam Nayak, known for his role in ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, passed away on Sunday (October 3). He was 77 years old. The senior artist was best known for playing the role of Nattu Kaka in the hit sitcom, which stars Dilip Joshi in the lead role.

Many netizens took to social media to mourn the demise of Nayak, who won hearts with his performance in ‘TMKOC’. Fans paid tribute to the actor and remembered his iconic scenes with co-star Dilip Joshi in the popular show.

Ghanshyam Nayak underwent a surgery in 2020 to remove the lumps from his neck. Earlier this year, he told an entertainment portal that he was diagnosed with cancer. Doctors had found new lumps in the actor’s throat.

Taarak Mehta producer Asit Modi told ABP News that Nayak did not shoot for the show for the past 3-4 months due to ill health.
