MYSURU: Two persons, who were allegedly lifting generators from banks, have landed in police custody. Another person receiving stolen generators too was arrested by the city police.
Narasimharaja police had detained two persons based on suspicion, but while being quizzed, the duo admitted that they had been lifting generators kept outside banks. They admitted to have lifted three generators from banks under NR police, Metagalli police and Malavalli police station limits in Mandya.
The three generators worth Rs 3.6 lakh in total and an SUV that was used for crime by the duo were seized.
