Jaipur: Rajasthan Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot On Wednesday demanded the Center to reduce various types of taxes on fuel to give relief to the common people from rising prices.

“The Center should take immediate steps and give relief to the common man by reducing various excise duties,” he said.
Gehlot said the Center has imposed various types of excise duties on petrol and diesel in which the states hardly get any share.
Giving a breakup, the Chief Minister said that in Rajasthan, if a liter of diesel costs Rs 98.80, the Center charges Rs 31.80 out of it, only for Rs 21.78. tub to the state.
