In the petition filed on behalf of Lawrence’s father, the lawyer said that no one is appearing on behalf of the Bar Association. Terming it unfair to come to the Supreme Court for this, he said that he should go to the High Court for such help.

No interference in transit remand at the initial stage of investigation
Subsequently, Lawrence’s father’s lawyer said that he is also challenging Lawrence’s transit remand. On this, the Supreme Court said that why Lawrence’s investigation cannot be done in Punjab.
