The company has also added DirectStorage support, which was first introduced with the company’s latest gaming consoles, the Xbox Series X and Series S, which were based on the Xbox Velocity architecture. The DirectStorage feature increases loading times and a more detailed game world.

Microsoft once again took a page from the Xbox Series X|S and added it to Windows 11. Auto HDR on Windows 11 is designed to automatically add high dynamic range enhancements to games in DirectX 11 or higher. Auto HDR enhances the overall game visuals by providing a wide range of brightness values and colors to deliver a feature-rich and immersive gaming experience.
Better gaming hardware compatibility
According to the official blog post, Windows 11 will offer support for nearly every gaming hardware and accessories, including new Xbox wireless controllers, mechanical keyboards, gaming mice, Xbox Adaptive controllers, surround sound headsets, external GPUs, racing wheels and more.
Built-in Xbox App
Microsoft announced Xbox app for Windows 10 and also introduced Xbox Game Pass for PC.
