Gadkari inaugurated projects worth crores in Basti. Varanasi News – Times of India

GORAKHPUR: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Thursday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of three National Highway (NH) projects worth Rs 1,624 crore at Makhauradham in Basti, 139 km.
On this occasion, the Union Minister laid the foundation stone of Ramjanki Road, Ram Van Gaman Road and 84 Kosi Parikrama Road. He also announced that the road from Ayodhya to Chitrakoot would be extended to Rameshwaram in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra to ease the journey of Ram Setu built by Shri Ram.
He said, ‘BJP does what it says. A major infrastructural change took place in the state with roads and bridges projects worth Rs 3.5 lakh crore. If the double engine government comes again in UP, then projects of roads and bridges worth Rs 5 lakh crore will come to the fore.
“The change was made possible because of the people who chose us and I assure you that if we form the government again, there will be huge infrastructural development in UP which will bring prosperity and development,” he said.
Accepting the request of MP Harish Dwivedi, Gadkari announced that the Vikramjot to Hasanabad Pakolia and Bankati Desad road will be made national highways, saying, “The roads will be built within two years under the Bharatmala scheme.”
“The Kosi Parikrama Marg will have 5 meters of footpaths with grass and tiles for pedestrians on either side of the road and a resting place every 10-15 km. It will be connected to 23 religious places, besides petrol pumps and other facilities will make the journey convenient for the devotees.
90 km road from Bast Mehdawal to Campierganj, 125 km road from Gorakhpur to Niklaul and 146 km road from Lucknow, Bahraich, Nanpara, Rupiha and Balrampur to Barhni will be constructed which will boost trade. Gadkari.
Describing how the Nagpur Municipal Corporation is earning from green hydrogen and toilet water, Gadkari said that money can be made from waste and in the coming days vehicles will run on ethanol produced by farmers.
Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya said that the township has value in UP (the settlement is the personality of Uttar Pradesh) and the central government’s treasury is open for the development of the place.
