Jesus, one of Arsenal’s four summer recruits, was signed from Manchester City for £45 million ($54.10 million) in the close season.

Egyptian midfielder Mohamed Elneni had leveled 2-2 nine minutes after resuming with a rocket from 30 yards, while two own goals ensured Mikel Arteta’s side secured their prelims. Gave the start of victory to the season campaign.
