A funny incident happened when the Australian team was waiting at their hotel in Karachi. Australia’s wicket-keeper batsman Alex Carey accidentally fell into the hotel’s swimming pool.
Carey was just casually walking by the pool not realizing he was really walking into it. A video of the incident surfaced and went viral on social media.
Australia captain Pat Cummins also laughed it off during a press conference. He said it was “one of the funniest things” he had ever seen.

Pat Cummins said, ‘It was a lot of fun. “We sat around the bus, waiting for the bus to leave and he (Alex Carey) went straight into the pool. One of the funniest things I’ve ever seen, really,” he said. .

“We got a new footage from a different angle of the CCTV camera this morning which is even more fun. So yeah, the boys had a good laugh. ‘Cage’ (Alex Carey) himself had a really funny laugh,” said the Australian captain. Said during the press conference.
Pakistan and Australia will play the second Test of the Benaud-Qadir Trophy on 12 March 2022. The series is tied 0–0 after the first Test ended in a draw.
