Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that all countries have been affected by the food, fertilizer and fuel crisis caused by the Ukraine conflict.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Thursday India Ukraine was fully prepared to contribute to the peace process to find a solution to the conflict.

Right from the beginning of the Ukraine conflict, India has made it clear that the dispute can only be resolved through dialogue and diplomacy. India is fully prepared to contribute to any peace process.

Addressing the media along with Modi, Meloni said Italy expects India to play a central role in negotiating and facilitating the process of cessation of hostilities in Ukraine during the G-20 presidency.

Modi said he and the Italian prime minister expressed concern over the adverse impact of the Ukraine conflict on developing countries.

He noted that all countries have been affected by the food, fertilizer and fuel crisis caused by the Ukraine conflict.

“In particular, developing countries have been adversely affected. We expressed our concern on this issue and stressed on joint efforts to address these issues.

Modi’s comment on Ukraine crisis has come at a time when foreign ministers of G-20 countries are meeting here.
