Petrol, diesel rates hiked after two-day halt Check Revised Rate

Petrol and diesel prices on Thursday increased by 0.31 to 0.37 paise after two consecutive days of stagnation. According to the Indian Oil Corporation, the rates of petrol and diesel in the national capital jumped by 35 paise to ₹104.79 and ₹93.52 per liter respectively.

In Mumbai, petrol increased by Rs 0.34 to Rs 110.75 per liter and diesel by Rs 0.37 to Rs 101.4 per liter.

Earlier, the rate was last revised on Monday. Prices vary from state to state depending on the incidence of local taxes.

On 28 September for petrol and 24 for diesel, a three-week relief in rates was broken by rising oil prices across the globe.
