Those who clear the exam can take admission in courses like MTech, Integrated MTech-PhD and PhD in engineering and allied subjects. Joint Entrance Examination (JAM): The exam is conducted in seven subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematical Statistics, Geology, Biological Science and Biotechnology for admission to MSc, PhD and other PG programs in IISc, IISER, NITs, IITs.
