New Delhi: Launching a scathing attack on the opposition, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said the trust of crores of people is their protective shield which cannot be broken by the abuses and allegations of his opponents. Responding to the debate on the motion of thanks on the President’s address in the Lok Sabha, PM Modi said the world is looking forward to India amid instability in some parts of the world due to the once-in-a-century pandemic and conflicts.
Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday made serious allegations against the BJP government at the Center regarding the Hindenburg report on Adani Group. During his speech, the Congress Wayanad MP alleged that after the BJP came to power in 2014, Gautam Adani’s fortunes skyrocketed as he moved from 609th to second position in the global rich list.
The budget session of Parliament has so far been stormy over the serious allegations leveled against the Adani group by American short-seller Hindenburg Research. The Congress-led opposition has been demanding an inquiry into the allegations made by the Hindenburg Research firm against the Adani group.
