Four people were burnt alive when two cars going at high speed collided head-on on the highway. Three including brother and sister are seriously injured in the accident. The injured have been admitted to the district hospital. The accident happened at 7:30 pm on Wednesday in Raipur area of ​​Jhalawar district.

Madan Gurjar, head constable of Raipur police station said that two cars collided head-on near Suwas culvert on the highway. After the collision, both the cars caught fire. Police reached the spot and controlled the fire with the help of fire brigade.

Police said that 26-year-old Bhanu Pratap, resident of Panchyakhedi in Madhya Pradesh, 24-year-old Yashwant alias Bhuru Singh, resident of Dungar village, Bhupendra Singh, 25, resident of Bhanpura and Prakhar Vyas, resident of Dungar village, died due to the fire. At the same time, Happy alias Lokendra Singh, resident of Mathanian village of Jhalawar, his sister Akanksha and Deshraj Singh, resident of Madhya Pradesh were seriously injured. The police have admitted the injured to the district hospital.

Police said Deshraj and his four accomplices were in one car, while Happy alias Lokendra Singh and his sister Akanksha were in the other car. Nearby people took out Happy and Akanksha and Deshraj Singh from another car. Brother and sister were going to Indore. At the same time, people in another car were coming from Madhya Pradesh towards Jhalawar.

Those injured in the accident have been admitted to the hospital.  Happy is going to get married a few days later.  Brother and sister were going towards Indore for shopping.
