fossil The Gen 6 smartwatch comes in two dial sizes – 42mm and 44mm. The price of the new smartwatch starts from Rs 23,995 and goes up to Rs 24,995. It will be available for sale in the country from September 27 on Fossil online store, Amazon and offline retail stores across the country.
The new Fossil Brand Gen 6 smartwatch comes in four colorways for the 44mm case and three colorways for the 42mm case. Pre-orders for the smartwatch will begin on September 25 through the Fossil website. This will be the first time that the product will be available for purchase in India, as well as globally.
Fossil Gen 6 Specifications
Fossil Gen 6 smartwatch is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 4100+ processor. It runs on Google’s Wear OS 2. Fossil has promised a WearOS 3 update for the smartwatch in 2022.
One of the key features of the smartwatch is the increased battery charging speed and Smart Battery Mode. Fossil says the Gen 6’s charging speed is up to two times faster than the flagship smartwatch. It claims to charge up to 80% in about 30 minutes. The smartwatch comes with four pin USB charging with magnetic puck. With Smart Battery Mode, the smartwatch can last for more than 24 hours.
Fossil Gen 6 has an upgraded heart rate sensor. It provides continuous tracking and better signal accuracy. The company has also added a SpO2 sensor to track blood oxygen levels. The device is compatible with Android and iOS smartphones, and can be used to make/receive calls.
There is also Google Assistant support on the Fossil Gen 6. It offers a 1.28-inch touchscreen display and comes with customizable dial and button functionality. Bluetooth 5.0 LE, WiFi, GPS and NFC are the connectivity features available on the SE device. Available sensors include accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, altimeter, PPG heart rate, SpO2, off-body IR and ambient light.
The Fossil Gen 6 comes with a swim-proof design and is equipped with 1GB of RAM along with 8GB of storage.
