Forbes 2021: Five Indians among the richest American self-made women, know how to achieve the position

The dominance of Indians in the world is increasing now. Women are also illuminating the name of India in the world by joining the men step by step. America’s famous magazine Forbes 2021 has released the list of America’s richest 100 self-made women. Five Indian-origin women have been given place in this list.

The Forbes 2021 list includes former PepsiCo chairman Indra Nooyi, Syntel co-founder Neerja Sethi, Confluent Co-founder Neha Narkhade, Arista Networks CEO Jayshree Ullal and Gingco Bioworks co-founder Reshma Shetty. This magazine has estimated the total assets of all these business women at $ 118 billion i.e. more than one lakh crore rupees. 26 of the richest self-made women in America are now billionaires, including two Indian Americans.

Jayshree Ullal, CEO, Arista Networks
Jayshree Ullal is the President and CEO of cloud networking firm Arista Networks. Jayshree Ullal is the richest of all Indian American business women. His net worth has increased from $1.3 billion in 2020 to $1.7 billion in 2021. Jayshree Ullal, one of five Indian-origin women in Forbes’ 2021 list of America’s Richest Self-Made Women, saw Arista Networks’ revenue jump from $1.1 billion in 2016 to $2.2 billion. She is the CEO of the company since 2008. Jayshree Ullal has studied Engineering Management from Santa Clara University.

Neerja Sethi, Co-Founder, Syntel
Neerja Sethi is the second richest Indian American business woman based in Florida, with a net worth of one billion dollars. She founded Syntel Inc., a reputed IT consulting and outsourcing company and has also been its director.

Neha Narkhade, Co-Founder, Confluent
Neha Narkhade, co-founder of cloud computing company Confluent, has played an important role in the development of LinkedIn. His net worth is $925 million. An engineering graduate from Pune University, Neha designed Apache Kafka, an open-source messaging system to handle LinkedIn’s data.

Reshma Shetty, Co-Founder, Gingko Bioworks
Reshma Shetty is the co-founder of Gingko Bioworks, a synthetic biotechnology company based in the Greater Boston area. His total income is 750 million dollars. She started this company with her husband Barry Canton.
