Belagavi: City police have arrested two people for smuggling Clothes Pouch on Monday. The accused have been identified as Tausif Riyaz Nizami26, and Suraj Ajay Banaskara25.
Acting on information received from reliable sources, a police team raided both the accused when they were trying to sell the pouches. Water is supplied from Mumbai and Pune. The powdered substance is inhaled by rolling it on paper and burning it. Some even smell the substance.
The police have seized 48 grams of water worth Rs 64,740, Rs 1,150 and a cell phone. The market price of each packet is Rs 300-400.
