Colva: Colva police have arrested five youths for assault breach A woman’s modesty at a restaurant in Benaulim on Thursday afternoon.
Sable Menezes filed the complaint while staying with his friends Maxwell Fernandes and Larson Fernandes, accused Deepak Walikar, 20, Viju Naik, 24, Akash Atwekar, 20, Sankesh Nishad, 20, Borda and Rohit Faldesai, allegedly from Bali constituted. An unlawful assembly and attacked Maxwell with a glass bottle on the head. The five also attacked Larsen with fist blows, causing minor injuries.
When she tried to save Larsen, Nishad allegedly tore her clothes which enraged her Meekness Menezes said in the complaint, and threatened to take her clothes off.
The five have been booked under various provisions of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
