Luv Films and Vishal Bhardwaj Films on Monday announced their first collaboration to produce ‘Kuttey’, by dropping a thrilling motion poster featuring Arjun Kapoor, Konkona Sen Sharma, Naseeruddin Shah, Kumud Mishra, Radhika Madan, Shardul Bhardwaj and Tabu.
Unveiling the motion poster as the first glimpse of the film, the makers promised a thrilling ride for the audience.
Talking about ‘Kutti’, Vishal shared, “This film is very special for me as it is my first collaboration with Aakash and I am excited to see what he does with it. Luv Films and Vishal Bhardwaj Films is also coming together for the first time. I am extremely excited about this association, as I really admire Luv’s brave approach towards filmmaking and strong business sense.”
Presented by T-Series, the film marks the directorial debut of Akash Bhardwaj, who assisted his father Vishal in ‘7 Khoon Maaf’, ‘Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola’ and ‘Pataakha’.
Speaking further about the upcoming project, Vishal shared, “I have worked with Naseer Sahab, Tabu, Konkona and Radhika in different films throughout my career and Aakash brought them all together in one film. We can’t wait for the audience to watch it. Thriller on the big screen.”
Written by father-son duo: Akash and Vishal, ‘Kutti’ is a caper-thriller, which is currently in its pre-production stage, and will start shooting in late 2021.
Talking about the film and his association with Vishal, Luv Ranjan said, “Vishal ji is one of the most prolific filmmakers of our country. His story and vision as a filmmaker are very much for me personally. It has been inspiring. It gives me immense pleasure that I am getting to work with him for Aakash’s film.”
Producer Bhushan Kumar also shared that he is thrilled to be working with two of the most brilliant directors in the Indian film industry.
“We are thrilled to collaborate with Vishalji and Luv for Aakash’s directorial debut ‘Kutty’. It will be exciting to see this creative synergy of two very diverse filmmakers. Both the story and the star cast of Kutty It is very interesting. As we present the first Jhalak, we hope the audience will be thrilled for what lies ahead,” Bhushan said.
‘Kutty’ is produced by Luv, Vishal, Ankur Garg and Rekha Bhardwaj under the banners of Luv Films and Vishal Bhardwaj Films, and presented by Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series. The music of the film will be given by Vishal and lyrics are penned by Gulzar.
