‘First Award You Won’t Be Holding’: Hina Khan Remembers Late Father On Daughter’s Day 2021

MumbaiPopular TV actress Hina Khan was honored with the ‘Eminent Actress in a Web Film’ award for her performance in ‘Lines’ at the Iconic Gold Awards 2021 held in Mumbai on Saturday (September 25). The ‘Bigg Boss 11’ finalist played a Kashmiri girl in the short film, which premiered on Voot last month.

Hina Khan dedicates award to her father

Hina shared a post remembering her late father on the occasion of Daughter’s Day 2021. He expressed grief over his father’s absence and said that this was his first award, which he did not take.

“Dad, wherever you are, I’m sure you know that it’s you who made it possible for me to come this far. Be who I am today as a person and a professional. More A human being. It’s the first prize you won’t physically hold. But I know, it’s also possible because of you. So this and everything. It’s forever for you. Thank you, Dad, for this gift. He wrote on Instagram, sharing a glimpse of his winner’s trophy.

Hina also thanked her fans for all the love and support. He further added, “Congratulations @rockyj1 @hirosfbf on our first as co-producer. Congratulations to the entire line team.”

Hina Khan’s father Aslam Khan passed away on April 20, 2021 due to a heart attack. The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress was shooting for ‘Baarish Ban Jaana’ in Kashmir when she got the news of her father’s demise. In the midst of difficult times, she immediately moved to Mumbai to be with her mother.
