Firhad Hakim hits out at BJP on minority issue, says – News18 Bangla

#Kolkata: BJP has lost in Asansol and Ballygunge. Gerua Shibir has reached the third position in Ballygunge. The number of votes has decreased significantly as compared to the assembly elections. Babul Supriya is leading by more than 15,000 votes in Ballygunge after 18 rounds of counting. On the other hand, Trinamool candidate Shatrughan Sinha is leading from Asansol with 1.5 lakh votes. Overall, the by-elections in Bengal have given the green signal. And this time Kolkata Metropolitan Firhad Hakim responded.

Regarding the defeat in the election, BJP State Secretary Sukant Majumdar said that the number of minority voters in Ballygunge is very high. That’s why BJP did not expect much from this seat. Responding to this, Firhad Hakim said, “This is their end.” Remember, we do not share 60 per cent, 30 per cent. We take the appeal equally to 100% of the people.
