MUMBAI: A major part of Dream Mall in Mumbai’s suburban Bhandup was gutted in a massive fire that lasted for nearly nine hours before it was doused, a civic official said on Saturday. He said that no casualty was reported in the incident.

The fire broke out around 8 pm on Friday night. Fire officials described it as a ‘level 3’ (major) fire and later upgraded to ‘level 4’, he said. The fire was brought under control around 5 am on Saturday. On March 25, 2021, a designated COVID-19 fire broke out inside the same mall and eleven people lost their lives.
